Our People
A diverse group of nurses

Ontario Shores' success is founded in its people. Our team of almost 1,200 staff, 150 volunteers, leadership team and board truly embrace a team philosophy to enhance care for people affected by mental illness.

Our staff bring a wealth of expertise and knowledge and create an environment of compassion, recovery and hope for patients. Our volunteers donate their time and hearts to our hospital to spend time with patients, provide them with meaningful activities and also engage in research to hopefully one day find a cure.

Our staff were also recognized by the surveyors from Accreditation Canada:

“You have an amazingly committed staff. Staff members here go the extra mile on a regular basis.”

“Interprofessional collaboration is evident across the organization as different disciplines blend together seamlessly around the needs of recovery patients.”

“The leadership is dynamic, the vision is brilliant and the energy is incredible.”
