Well another great Cycling Adventure Tour stopped at Ontario Shores this week. The event, hosted by the Waterfront Regeneration Trust, saw 125 cyclists pass through on Day 5 of the event (Tuesday), which started in Ajax and stopped for the day in Colborne. Thanks to W hitby Councillor Tracy Hanson and Steve Edwards, Whitby's Manager of Parks, Marina, Long Range Planning, Special Events and Tourism (phew that is one big portfolio Steve), for coming out. Ajax Mayor Steve Parish was part of the peloton that came though. Ontario Shores is thrilled to be able to support the event and welcome the participants and community along the waterfront trail. |

Kudos to the Town of Whitby who blended the County Town event with the fireworks on Canada Day at Victoria Fields.
The location was great with ample parking and lots of room. For awhile I thought I was always bringing bad weather to the Town events I participated in but Friday's event proved it wasn't me after all. I hope most of you had a chance to take part and stopped to visit me at the Ontario Shores booth. I met a lot of great people and again, congrats to all the Whitby marketing staff for hitting a home run
