Volunteers
Volunteers at Ontario Shores provide a vital community link for patients. They inspire hope, enhance patient self-esteem, help eliminate stigma, and improve the quality of life for patients by sharing their time, knowledge, and generous hearts. Our volunteers come from all walks of life and volunteer for a variety of reasons.
Volunteers have been providing services to our patients since 1966 and contribute thousands of hours to Ontario Shores providing support, friendship and programs that may otherwise be unavailable. Volunteer activities and placements are established on patient care units when requested by staff through the Volunteer Office and run in partnership with staff to enhance programming.
If you are interested in being a part of this incredible team of enthusiastic individuals, please forward your application and references to Volunteer Services. We would love to hear from you!
