Medical Students
Currently affiliated with the Medical University of the Americas (MUA) and the University of Toronto, Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences (Ontario Shores) has developed a comprehensive six week rotation for medical students.  Medical students rotate through all clinical programs, obtaining exposure to mental illness across an individual's life-span, from adolescents to seniors.  Medical students are also offered introductions to the Forensic Program, Dual Diagnosis, Neuropsychiatry, and general adult psychiatry including mood and anxiety disorders, rapid assessment and women’s mental health depending on the student’s interests and learning needs.  We are also able to offer customized clinical and research electives to meet the interests and learning needs of our medical students.

For more information contact CJ Pudsey, Human Resources Consultant, Physician Group at  pudseyc@ontarioshores.ca.

All visiting elective students (those not from the University of Toronto or Medical University of the Americas) must also register directly with the Visiting Electives Office at the University of Toronto.
