Mental Health Nursing Residency
Ontario Shores, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MOHLTC) and five mental health sites, offers nurses a three month post-graduate residency program to help them build on their knowledge and understanding of mental health.
This post graduate residency program provides the foundation for a network of nurses dedicated to excellence in mental health care. At the end of their three month residency, the participants will have gained the skills required to provide exceptional mental health care.
The other four sites are the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, Mental Health Centre Penetanguishene, Providence Care – Mental Health Services and Royal Ottawa Health Care Group.
