Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences (Ontario Shores) provides specialized recovery-focused care to individuals with serious mental illness. The hospital employs almost 1,200 staff members, and each person plays an important role in assisting patients on their journey to recovery. Ontario Shores provides 339 beds and proudly serves individuals across Ontario and within our primary service areas including: East and Northeast Toronto and the surrounding municipalities of Durham and York, the City of Kawartha Lakes, Haliburton, Northumberland and Peterborough Counties.
