Marie-Claire Albanese

Marie-Claire is a Toronto-based lawyer leading the legal department at Green Shield.  She is responsible for enterprise-wide corporate commercial, labour and employment, intellectual property, M&A, and litigated matters.  As Corporate Secretary, she supports the Green Shield’s Boards of Directors in fulfilling their governance responsibilities.  

As a bilingual lawyer, she has held progressively senior leadership roles throughout her career.  Prior to obtaining her law degree where she was the Executive Managing Editor of the McGill Journal of Law and Health, Marie-Claire graduated with a PhD in Psychology and Neurosciences with a focus on brain imaging of experimental models of chronic pain in humans.
