Meet Andrea, Executive Assistant supporting the Chief Operations Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and the Corporate Executive Assistant, Administration. Andrea began working in Dietary Services at Ontario Shores in 1990 where she washed pots and delivered food wagons to the cottages. As a student, she completed practicum hours in the Neuropsychiatry Unit (NPU) and has since worked in Stores, Purchasing, in the Senior’s program as a Ward Clerk, and the Staffing Office. She then moved to the Integrated Community Access Program(ICAP) as the Administrative Assistant and is now an Executive Assistant. What inspires Andrea to keep #RisingUp? She proudly proclaims, "It's because of the people! I've had the pleasure of working with many incredible people during my time at Ontario Shores. I grew up here. I started right out of high school after moving 3,000 kilometers away from home. People here have become like family to me, particularly one! There are teams that I cherish because of the amazing work we accomplished. There were a few tears but mostly laughter along the way. I enjoy seeing people I haven't seen in a long time, catching up with them, and reminiscing about times gone by."
