Peer Support Specialists at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences (Ontario Shores) are available to patients. They provide comfort and support along the patient's recovery journey. Peer Support Specialists bring lived experience to their role and can share their insights and experience in recovery to assist patients in making choices and implementing thier own personal plan of recovery. Peer Support can link patients to organizational and community resources to help build the skills necessary to facilitate recovery.
