In commemoration of World Mental Health Day on October 10, Ontario Shores Foundation for Mental Health and Ontario Shores is welcoming supporters and guests to join together onsite for an exclusive celebration featuring a cocktail reception and a red carpet premiere of the new documentary film ‘When Hope Breaks Through’, a film by award-winning director, Matthew Wagner.
'When Hope Breaks Through’ is the inspiring story of Mike Shoreman, who was diagnosed with a neurological condition that left him with paralysis, vertigo, hearing loss, and vision challenges, ultimately leading to depression and a mental health breakdown. The film explores the mental health crisis in Canada and beyond, including our relationship with our own mental health, as it immerses the audience in Mike’s epic crossings of the five Great Lakes.
