The Ontario Shores Library is a central source of information within the organization. Library staff collect and catalogue articles, books, journals, DVDs and CDs relevant to Ontario Shores’ programs. Staff, the community, students, interns, fellows, volunteers, patients and families have full access to the collection, and must complete a Library Application Form to borrow.
In addition to the main collection, the Library has many recovery and interprofessional care/education resources as well as a great selection of self help books and books on mental health.
All material, except reference books and current journals, can be borrowed for three weeks. Any item can be renewed by phone, email or in person for an additional three weeks provided there is no waiting list. There is a drop box located outside the Library to return books after hours.
