The Courage Group: AA Meetings

Every Tuesday at 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
AA Meeting

Conference Room A, Building 5, Level 2

The Courage Group is a group founded by recovering alcoholics and addicts. The group was formed to address the needs of alcoholics and, addicts that are present in the lives of patients at Ontario Shores, as well as the alcoholics and addicts in the community, The primary purpose of our Courage Group is the same as A.A: to carry its message of recovery to the alcoholic/addict seeking help.  Regardless of the road we follow, we all head for the same destination, recovery of the addicted or alcoholic person. As a group, we can do what none of us could accomplish alone. We can serve as a source of personal experience and be an ongoing support system for recovering alcoholics.

A.A. has a simple program that works: It is based on one alcoholic or addict helping another.

What is Alcoholics Anonymous?

We are a Fellowship of individuals who have lost the ability to control their drinking or drugging and have found ourselves in various kinds of trouble as a result of our addictions. We attempt to create a satisfying way of life without drugs or alcohol. For this, we find we need the help and support of other addicts and alcoholics in A.A.

The Courage Group is fellow alcoholics and addicts who support each other.

The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking or using

A.A. does not keep membership files or attendance records. You do not have to reveal anything about yourself.

The Courage Group meets at Ontario Shores every Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. in Conference Room A. Access this space by parking near the Main Entrance near the flag poles.
