Psychology Practicum and Residency

The primary aim of the Ontario Shores psychology training programs is to prepare students to become competent and autonomous clinical psychologists. Students will develop skills and knowledge in assessment, treatment, consultation and professional and ethical decision making. Students are expected to think critically about the services they offer to patients as well as the clinical decisions they make. Students are integrated into the psychology team and actively participate in case conferences, journal clubs, seminar topics and interprofessional grand rounds. Please refer to the program specific brochures below for more information about the predoctoral practica and residency opportunities.
