
Ontario Shores launched the Art Gallery in 2008 to bring people together who share an interest in art. Through our Guest Artist of the Month Program we are able to support aspiring and established artists from all around Ontario by providing a venue to showcase and sell their work. The Art Gallery is a creative and tranquil space for patients, families, employees, students and community to visit.
Ontario Shores believes in reducing stigma and promoting mental health awareness through the arts. Patients, families and community members with lived experience with mental illness are encouraged to apply.

Guest Artist of the Month Program
The Guest Artist of the Month Program was developed by the Ontario Shores Art Gallery in 2013 to promote original and professional artwork. This initiative offers an opportunity for artists to have their own art show and provides the community with an opportunity to view and enjoy quality art in an accessible venue. Gallery space is available throughout the year and exhibits are shown on a monthly basis.
The Call to Artists is open to solo artists or groups. Artists with a connection to mental health are encouraged to apply.
How do I apply to become a guest artist?
You can submit a proposal to the Ontario Shores A
rt Gallery at any time for consideration for the Guest Artist of the Month Program. The proposal should include:
- Guest Artist of the Month Application
- Artist Statement
- Electronic listing of artwork including title, size, media and price of each piece
- High resolution JPEG image of artist (optional)
