The Board of Directors of Ontario Shores Foundation for Mental Health (Ontario Shores Foundation) is pleased to welcome Tracy Clegg as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation.

Ms. Clegg brings more than 25 years of fundraising experience in the not-for-profit sector.

She joins the Foundation team from her role as Vice-President, Community Engagement and Operations at Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation. She also held leadership roles with World Wildlife Fund.

A dynamic, results-oriented leader, Ms. Clegg brings tremendous expertise in creating authentic and meaningful donor and stakeholder relationships.  She has led successful fundraising campaigns and annual giving programs that have raised both funds and awareness for the organizations for which she worked.

“We are thrilled Tracy will be joining the Foundation,” says Joe Blomeley, Foundation Board Chair. “Her combination of experience, art of storytelling and passion for mental health will serve our Foundation well as we look to increase the impact of our fundraising efforts.”

“I am inspired by the work of Ontario Shores and the stories of hope and recovery from the people they serve. I am excited to join the Foundation team and quickly identify opportunities for us to partner with hospital leaders and staff to make a difference in the lives of people struggling with mental illness.”

Ms. Clegg will work collaboratively with the Foundation team to advance our fundraising programs to support the increasing mental health care demands of Ontario Shores in areas such as adolescent mental health and adolescent eating disorders, dementia, anti-stigma initiatives, recovery-focused space, innovation and outpatient services.

“Ontario Shores, with its more than 100-year history in Durham Region, remains grateful for the support and generosity from our communities and donors,” says Karim Mamdani, President and CEO, Ontario Shores.  “I look forward to Tracy’s efforts as she and the team build on this history to support us in the advancement of life-saving mental health services.”
