Ontario Shores has partnered with Pizza Forno to bring their automated pizza oven to Ontario Shores. Ontario Shores is the first hospital in Ontario to offer this service.
Staff, patients, volunteers, guests and members of the community can purchase fresh, artisanal pizza from the vending machine, which is located in the Lakeview Cafeteria, Building 5, Level 1. Entrances to the hospital are open from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
At the tap of a digital screen, you can choose from six premium menu offerings, all of which are made fresh by hand, with an authentic Italian approach, using all natural, locally sourced ingredients. The pizza takes under three minutes to bake.
The machine accepts credit cards, Apple pay, and debit cards; it does not accept cash.
