Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences (Ontario Shores) is placing a call for proposals to businesses, non-profit organizations, entrepreneurs, and social enterprises for the submission of social enterprise business plans to support employment of people living with complex mental illness.
The objective of this call for proposals is to gauge the extent to which businesses, entrepreneurs, non-profit organizations, or social enterprises may have viable business ideas or plans that would support the meaningful employment of patients and clients ready for community reintegration in a sustainable manner.
Ontario Shores is seeking to form a collaborative relationship with another business entity that would serve as the social enterprise or business through which its patients and clients would be employed.
As a partner, Ontario Shores may provide contributions to start-up cost to assist in the employment of its patients and clients. Ontario Shores may also provide access to a workforce with a variety of transferable skills and educational backgrounds as well as vocational rehabilitation services, education, training and promotional support.
