PARC Application Instructions

Ontario Shores has a Patient Advisory and Recovery Committee (PARC) that consists of broad volunteer representation of both inpatients and outpatients.

Working in partnership with Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences (Ontario Shores), PARC supports and empowers patients in their recovery in alignment with Ontario Shores’ Mission, Vision and Values by facilitating the patient perspective in advancing care and service delivery for patients of Ontario Shores.

Are you interested?  Let us know why you would like to join!  In 250 words or less, write a short piece to highlight your experience and summarize how you would make a difference for other patients as a member of PARC.

For more information, please see our position description for PARC Members.

For current inpatients, the health and wellness of our patients is our number one priority. Please have your current clinician fill out this reference form [link] to indicate they support your application for PARC.

Submit your writing piece and reference form to @email to complete your application.

Thank you for your interest in PARC, we will review all applications and contact successful applicants for an interview.

While we wish we could take everyone that applies, PARC consists of up to 12 members.  If you are not successful in your application, we invite you to reapply at a later date.
