Margaret Walsh is Sr. Manager, Research and Development at Child Development Institute (CDI), Toronto, Canada. She was a lead member and researcher of the SNAP National Expansion 1.0 and now SNAP 2.0. She consults with CDI clinical managers, international SNAP Affiliate sites, and government officials on evaluation frameworks, research and program development, implementation, and fidelity protocols. Margaret is co-author of the EARL (Early Assessment Risk List) gender-sensitive risk assessment tool for children, under the age of 12, at risk for future delinquency and violence. She has co-led and authored several SNAP and EARL publications including the randomized controlled study on the SNAP Girls intervention. She is a lead member of the CDI Scaling, Research and Development Team and heads the SNAP Fidelity Framework for SNAP implementations. Margaret’s academic background in psychology, sociology, and gender equity at the University of Toronto. She conducts numerous presentations at academic conferences and university seminars.
