Adolescent Day Treatment

The day treatment program at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences (Ontario Shores) provides mental health and education services in a local community high school to support students as they transition into a community setting.

Services include:

  • Individual rehabilitation therapy
  • Life and social skills assessment and training
  • Educational remediation and instruction
  • Recreational programming

For ages 14-18

Inclusion Criteria

Adolescents 14 to 18 years of age, Mental Health diagnosis and difficulty in secondary school inclusion.

Service Access

Referrals are accepted by individuals, families, healthcare providers or social service organizations across Ontario. Please refer by calling Ontario Shores Central Intake Department at 877.767.9642 or Durham Central Intake, operated by Kinark Child and Family Services, at 888.454.6275.
