Ms. Dhaliwal graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, and is a Chartered Professional Accountant. She also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
Svina has over 15 years of experience in both the public and private sectors. Currently she is the Director of Finance and Business Management at the Toronto Police Service. She also spent over ten years at IBM Global Business Services, where she has held progressively senior finance and transformation roles.
She brings a continuous improvement mindset and has worked on and led various large projects and advancing organizations' modernization agendas. Her knowledge and experience includes finance and HR operations, IT enabled transformation and service delivery models.
