Family Council Application Instructions

Ontario Shores has a Family Council that consists of up to 15 volunteers that are representative of families from various clinical programs at Ontario Shores.

Working in partnership with Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences (Ontario Shores), Family Council supports and empowers family caregivers affected by mental health and addiction issues in alignment with Ontario Shores’ Mission, Vision and Values.

Are you interested?  Let us know why you would like to join!  In 500 words or less, write a short piece to highlight your experience, your connection to Ontario Shores and summarize how you would make a difference for our patients as a member of Family Council.

Successful applicants and current members of Family Council are required to register as active volunteers, please review the volunteer process to ensure you can meet the requirements before applying.
