Karen Adams, Chair
 
Karen Adams previously served as the President of Cira Health Solutions, where she spearheaded the company’s growth, and streamlined corporate objectives. An accomplished executive leader with over 12 years of experience in the health industry, Ms. Adams brings a unique combination of business and clinical acumen to her role, complemented by strong relationship management skills.

She has authored white papers on mental health and chronic pain, and advocates for mental health solutions frequently taking her message to the media on daytime and news radio and television.

Sharon Dunn is a Human Resources Leader with over 20 years’ experience working in complex organizations. A versatile and results oriented human resources professional with expertise in assessing and building strategic and integrated talent management programs.

Ms. Dunn's career spans consumer packaged goods, financial services, logistics and real estate development in private, public and not-for-profit sector organizations.
     
Colin O'Regan

  Colin O'Regan, Vice Chair
Business Relationship Manager - Durham Region, BMO Bank of Montreal

Colin O'Regan has been employed with Bank of Montreal for the past 20 years with most recent 10+ years as a business banker in the Durham Region. Mr. O'Regan has been an active member with the Rotary Club of Whitby Sunrise since 2003 and has provided extensive support and board involvement in the not for profit sector across the Durham Region for the past 10+ years.
     


 

Joe Blomeley, 
Executive Vice President, Individual and Public Sector, Green Shield Canada

Joseph Blomeley recently joined Green Shield Canada as Executive Vice President, Individual and Public Sector.  Prior to this, he held executive positions at Morneau Shepell and the Business Council of Canada.  He is an executive, strategic advisor and communications specialist with 13+ years of experience contributing to the effectiveness and performance of private, public, and non-profit sector organizations.  

Mr. Blomeley is a member of the Canadian Mental Health Association–York Region’s Board of Directors; the Ontario Chamber of Commerce’s Policy and Health Advisory Committees and the Banff Leadership Forum; and is a Policy Fellow with the University of Ottawa’s Education Policy Research Initiative

     
Anthony Craig

Anthony Craig is a financial services professional with over 15 years Commercial and Corporate industry experience. His current role is National Director – Public Sector, Scotiabank - with primary duties to provide leadership and strategic oversight for the Bank's management and acquisition of clients in the municipal, post-secondary education and hospitals segment.
     
Tracey Dell

 

Tracey Dell, Director
Vice President Operations - GTA North, Shoppers Drug Mart Inc.
 
Tracey Dell joined the Ontario Shores Foundation Board in 2016. She brings to the Board over 25 years work experience in the retail industry. 

Ms. Dell is currently the Vice President of Operations for Shoppers Drug Mart – GTA North, where she supports 120 Store Associates/Owners. Tracey holds a Bachelor of Arts and History from York University.

     
Joseph Riccuiti

  Joseph Ricciuti, Director
Co-Founder of Mental Health International and President and CEO, SEB Benefits and HR Consulting Inc.

Joseph Ricciuti is the Co-Founder of Mental Health International and President and CEO of SEB Benefits and HR Consulting Inc. His professional career has spanned over 35 years and included senior leadership positions at Canada Life and Watson Wyatt.
 
Mr. Ricciuti has been a strong advocate for promoting workplace mental health as a boardroom issue. He co-authored a major research study: ‘A Literature Review and Gap Analysis Report: Mental Health in the Labour Force’. He was also part of the original group of professional leaders whose vision in 2009 led to the 2012 National Standard of Canada on Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace.
     
Dr. Illan Fischler




 

Dr. Ilan Fischler, Ex-Officio
Medical Director, Psychiatry Physician in Chief, Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences

Dr. Ilan Fischler is the Physician-in-Chief at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences (Ontario Shores), in addition to being the Medical Director, Clinical Informatics and a Geriatric Psychiatrist on the Geriatric Dementia Unit.
 
At Ontario Shores, Dr. Fischler provides leadership for medical professional practice and champions the quality and safety of medical practice and care.  He is innovative, passionate about how the application of technology can advance the mental health care system and he is dedicated to providing recovery-oriented care to the patients he serves.

     
Ted Moroz


 

Ted Moroz, Ex-Officio
President of The Beer Store (TBS) and Brewers Distributor Ltd. (BDL)

With over 20 years of professional experience, Ted Moroz specializes in Retail and Logistics Management. As the President of The Beer Store (TBS) and Brewers Distributor Ltd. (BDL), he is responsible for managing retail sales, wholesale logistics, finance, information technology, and human resources.

He started his career with TBS as a management trainee and worked his way up to management functions in inventory control, human resources, finance, retail, and logistics management. Eventually he served as VP, Logistics, then VP, Retail, and now, president of the company. In addition, he is an active member of the Retail Council of Canada and has served on the executive round table.

Mr. Moroz has served on several committees. Most notably, he helped successfully negotiate the Ontario Deposit Return Program, clearly establishing TBS as the most environmentally friendly retailer in the world. He is also one of the leaders of the largest bottle drives in Ontario, raising over seven million dollars for Leukemia research in the past eight years. 

He is now proud to serve as a volunteer member and vice chair of the National Board of Directors of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada.

Karim Mamdani is President and CEO of Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences (Ontario Shores). Mr. Mamdani’s areas of focus include information management, employee engagement, financial and operational management, governance, land and building development, collective bargaining, funding systems and strategy development and execution. 

Mr. Mamdani holds an MBA from McMaster University and is a CPA.
